We offer a variety of roles from beauty therapists to chefs, and between the three sites we employ over 200 full and part time staff from over 15 different nationalities and of all different ages.

Casual Work
If your looking for casual work look no further. Every department in our operation has casual staff and we couldn't do without them. So if you have committments elsewhere or are simply looking for a bit of weekend or evening work, we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Management Careers
Throughout all our different departments there are a whole range of different managerial roles carrying all levels of responsiblity. The most important factor in progressing to this level is that you love what you do! So if your applying for a front of house position we'd expect that you like the odd tipple of wine, enjoy your cask ales and love locally produced quality food. Most importantly you have the passion to make every customers visit a happy one.

All managerial roles require leadership skills and the ability to maintain a happy enjoyable working environment for all your team. Of course your need to be efficient and meet targets and run your operation effectively. You'll need the skills to work autonomously and make decisions on your own - but we'll be there to advise as and when needed.

We offer good rates of pay, from supervisors on £14,000-£16,000, deputies on £16,000-£25,000 and managers on £25,000-£45,000. Chef Careers
If your talent lies in the kitchen, there's a fantastic team already in place which you can become part of. We take on chefs of all levels and love nothing more than developing existing members of our team and watching them grow. We also work closely with the local colleges and have many juniour chefs who we sponsor through college on weekly day release.

We are constantly investing in our kitchens to ensure you are working with the best tools available and the environment in which you work is a happy one. In fact all our kitchens have air conditioning so there's none of that 'sweating over a hot stove!'

Careers at The Pheasant Inn Bar Supervisor Ideally you will have some cellar knowledge and experience of working on bars. The role will entail assisting with all bar orders, maintaining the cask conditioned ales, line-cleans and keeping the bar spotlessly clean. As a supervisory member of the team you will be responsible for junior members of staff in the absence of Sam or Gemma. This role includes all other duties relating to front of house service. Full time front of house staff We're looking for dedicated, reliable and motivated individuals to join the core team at The Pheasant Inn. You'll be dealing with customers on a face to face basis so a friendly, warm, and welcoming character is a must! As well as serving guests you'll be trained in dealing with telephone enquiries for the bedroom reservations, dinner reservations, and general enquiries.
